The Dalai Lama says that KINDEST IS MY RELIGION. I'll second that. I am a non-conformist. My spiritual evolution is the most important thing in my life. I meditate a lot and I am a vegetarian, starting both around 1971. I am a gentle compassionate, passionate man, but also a fierce warrior, although my battles are no longer with externals. I am very passionate about whatever I do-- I jump into something new with reckless abandon. I was quite the freedom fighter of causes involving peace and equality--- not so now. I am non-materialistic. I live in the high desert just south of Tucson in a simple home with a fabulous view of the valley and mountains. I am a very supportive person, yet I know the difference between support and enabling, I am a pacifist and was a conscientious objector during the Viet Nam War. I don't watch television or the news, but do watch lots of movies. I am kind and strong. I was sort of an activist in the areas of Peace and Education. Now I am not a political person. My 2 grown sons are my heroes. If only I was as spiritually evolved as they are now when I was their age. They don't yell, don't put down people, and would never hurt a soul. Very amazing for 2 computer geeks.

I play pocket billiards with a group of older men and we laugh hard every day. The stories are fantastic, the jokes are usually pretty funny. I play a card game with my sons called OH HELL, also known as AW HECK, and we have a fantastic time. Just about doing anything with my sons is a lot of fun. One is 36 and the other is 30 years young. Unfortunately, they live in Ohio and I live in Arizona.
