I have been a widower for a little over 4 years. I loved my wife, taking care or her through multiple illnesses. I enjoy all kinds of things: a quite meal, a glass of wine, a walk in the woods, a laugh, a good book, a UK basketball game. You see, I am a hopeless romantic who loves life, family and friends. I am easy to smile, approach and I will make you feel at ease. I am no stranger to the kitchen and like to cook when possible. I have 2 children, a daughter who lives in Oregon, with my 3 grandchildren, and a son who currntly lives with me and is an unemployed photo-journalist. The economy and the internet are both hurting journalism today. I am partially retired, but still keep my finger in the pot, as a sales consultant in over-the-counter products, working part time as director of sales for a small manufacturer in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
