| I Would Describe Myself As | I am a kind and emphatic, person who loves music, writing songs and dogs. I have spent my adult life working in the field of Human Services. I worked for over 10 years in Washtenaw county then spent two years working in Southwest Detroit. I love to read and history, music and keep up on current events. I also love sports, but enjoy going to museums as well. I would love to meet someone who would appreciate these thing about me. Although I appear like a conventional person, I am really not. I was one of only 4 vegetarians in High School in Dearborn ( they put us in the paper) and almost everyone in my family does some kind of art,writing or music. When the neighbors got on my parents about their open minded views, they responded by growing the dandelions and putting more bird feeders out. I am still idealistic but this isn't the world I imagined as a kid. When I was younger and we lived in Ferndale my mom would take us down to the DIA on the Woodward bus and I still love it there, although I wasn't crazy about some of the changes in The Rivera Court. I am extremely accepting of peoples differences and enjoy these although I don't understand guns or hunting very well. Also, my idea of Water Sports would be cruising the Detroit River on The Diamond Jack. I love the peacefulness of the water and love the Great Lakes but I am not much on going to the Beach! I am always open to learning and appreciate what other people can teach me! |
